Tom McMinimee of Centennial, Colorado passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2022 at the age of 55.

Tom graduated from Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado in 1984, then proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado in Civil Engineering and went on to become a Professional Engineer. Tom worked for the City of Aurora for 15 years, spending the last 6 years as the Street Operations Manager in the Public Works Department.

Tom spent many years coaching AYL sports and was passionate about teaching his players the love of the game. He liked spending time with friends and family, always easily making a friend wherever he went. Tom enjoyed many hobbies and had numerous creative talents. Tom was an avid bird and big game hunter. He considered his turkey hunts and time in the goose pit priceless.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Susan, and their children Michael Andrew, Anna Louise, and Joseph Mason.  Also survived by his parents Andrew and Sharon McMinimee and brother Daniel McMinimee of Littleton, Colorado.  He was preceded in death by his oldest brother James Carter McMinimee.

We will be gathering to share our favorite memories and remember a wonderful person who will be greatly missed. There will be a Celebration of Life for Tom on February 5 ^th , 2022 from 2 – 6 p.m. at the Double Tree by Hilton Denver Tech Center, 7801 E. Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, Colorado, 80111.
