Andrea (Andi) Cimbura passed away on August 16, 2022 in Denver, Colorado. Andi was born in St. Paul Minnesota on July 14, 1953. She was the eldest of four children born to James and Eleanore Cimbura. She enjoyed long road trips and was an admirable, fearless and independent traveler, even once taking on the solo road trip from Colorado to Alaska.

Being an aunt to her six nieces and nephews and great aunt to her four great nieces and nephews was one of her biggest joys in life. She went out of her way to make each of them feel loved and create special memories that they will hold onto forever. Along with being a top-notch aunt she also loved baking, fantasy movies, Disneyland, reading and feeding everyone in her life a ridiculous amount of caramel corn and other yummy treats she would prepare around the holidays.

She was passionate about her work at Colorado Public Radio, where she started as a volunteer and made it into her career for thirty years. Andi worked in the membership department and especially loved her volunteers. She grew many strong friendships on the staff, as well. Comments from them on her passing included great personality, firecracker, gigantic heart, strong opinions and solid hugs.

In addition to working for a non-profit, Andi was a charitable woman, regularly donating to The Trevor Project and Planned Parenthood . In lieu of any flowers please consider making a donation in her name to one of these charities.

Her three siblings, four nieces, two nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews survive Andi. She will be deeply missed.
