Anne F.
Douglas
May 7, 1937 – March 26, 2024
It is with sadness we announce that Anne Fuller Douglas passed away suddenly in her home on March 26, 2024.
Anne was born on May 7, 1937 on Cape Cod in Massachusetts to her parents Herbert and Ellen Fuller, attending school on the East Coast where she met Larry. They later moved to Denver, Colorado where they raised their kids and lived until passing away.
Anne really enjoyed working in the office at Montview Presbyterian Church and spending quiet time at home, reading, playing scrabble and doing crosswords. She had a deep appreciation for nature, filling her home with pictures, figurines, and books on landscapes and animals. She enjoyed watching the escapades of squirrels and bunnies from her patio. In her later years, she lived through the escapades of her grandchildren and enjoyed when they could visit. She was always technology savvy and was able to stay in touch with family and friends. Anne will be remembered as a good friend to the residents of building 8 at the Windsor Gardens complex in Denver. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Anne is survived by her sons Jonathan and David, and her 3 wonderful grandchildren Francesca, Chayton and Cameron. She was widowed from her husband of 57 years, Larry, who passed away in 2016. She is also survived by her 4 brothers and sister.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 1:30pm at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, 1280 Vine St, Denver, CO 80206 followed by a reception at 2:30 PM. Donations in her name can be made to one of her favorite charities Heifer International who work to bring food self-sufficiency to communities around the world.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2a: "For everything, there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die…" All of life has a beginning and end. We can rest in the fact that God has created both."
