Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Ferullo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who departed on September 16, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born on June 6, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, Barbara was the cherished daughter of Roland (Ted) and Velvia (Betty Griffith). She was the loving sister of Deanna (Jean), Michael, and Carol. Raised in a vibrant and caring household, Barbara embodied the values of kindness, compassion, passion, and resilience—qualities that defined her throughout her life.

Barbara's unwavering sense of values guided her academic and professional achievements. While raising her family as a full-time mother, she earned bachelor's degrees in both accounting and computer science, graduating summa cum laude from Metropolitan State University. Barbara went on to have a distinguished career in accounting, retiring as Accounting Manager at C.C.S. Facilities Services in Denver.

Though she achieved great success in her career, Barbara's greatest pride was her role as a devoted wife to her husband Ralph for 55 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and steadfast support, raising three children and nurturing a close-knit family. Barbara's greatest joy was found in her family, as she lovingly guided and cared for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Barbara Ferullo leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by her children and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Barbara is survived by her three children: John (Nancy), Dawn (Shane), and Kenneth (Kara).

She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Eric, Jasmine, Karissa, Autumn, Colleen, Juliet, Scarlett, Kaden, Carson, Sophia, and Jackson.

Barbara's legacy continues through her great grandchildren: Collin, Faith, William, Holden, Orwell, and Milton.

And a host of extended family and friends who loved her dearly

She was proud of her family's ancestry as descendants of William Bradford of the Mayflower.

A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Loreto on November 3, 2025 at 10:30am.  All are welcome to honor Barbara's life.
