Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Brad passed away and made his transition on October 7th, surrounded by his family's love.  After living a passion-filled and loving life, his soul transcended to its next adventure by way of pancreatic cancer.

Brad was born in El Paso, TX but spent almost all of his life in Colorado.  He attended Jeffco schools, graduating from Green Mountain High School in 1978.  He went on to get a degree in marketing from CSU.  His college years were interrupted by a wonderful year traveling as a cast member of Up With People (a non profit music and community action oriented young people's group), even though Brad always said they never let him "sing" near a live mic.

Brad  provided well for his family working in the IT field and with his Juice Plus business, although his real passion was his interest in sports, especially basketball and golf.  As a single Dad he coached both a girls' and a boys' basketball team when his children were in grade school.  He continued coaching for several years and there are many young adults who still refer to him as "Coach".  Brad really loved the game.  He followed Michael Jordan from his years at the University of North Carolina through his pro years, and was a true Tar Heels fan.  There was nothing like hearing Brad cheering all through the house when it was March Madness time.

Whenever the Colorado weather allowed it, Brad could be found on the golf course.  He played with the Homestead Golf Club Men's group regularly and in addition organized out-of-town tournaments with groups of friends.  Some of those who went on the outings, had been friends of his since school days.  One of Brad's strongest traits was his ability to maintain long lasting friendships-people from school, work, coaching, Up With People, Juice Plus and anywhere else he touched their lives.  He was the Dad, son, brother, uncle and friend who always "showed up" when anyone needed him.

Brad is survived by his children, Nicole and Tyler Dalby, his parents, Gordon and Alice Dalby, his sister and brother-in-law, Leann and Pat Tobin, his nephews, Bryce (wife, Nakai) and Dylan Tobin and by his loving partner, Kathy Day.
