On October 4, 2021, Bruce Meyer of Denver, Colorado passed away at the age of 75 at home from a recent illness. He was a long-time resident of Denver, Colorado and a Chicago native.

A Vietnam veteran, Bruce was an avid bow hunter for Elk. He spent many years in Hays, Kansas living off the land and cultivating long-term friendships which carried through to the present. Bruce and his wife Shelia were also avid travelers and nature lovers and traveled the world together. He loved gardening and always had the best fruits and vegetables in the neighborhood.

Bruce had a unique talent for ceramics artistry, creating pottery for his company Potsmeyer Ceramics, traveling to local art fairs selling his wares. He worked most of his life in the Denver healthcare business. Bruce will always be remembered for his generosity and compassion and being true to himself and to others.

He is survived by his sister Eileen Ogrin (Barry), brother Rick Meyer (Robin), sister-in-laws Jane Haagensen, Karen Burns, Christine Peabody (Alan) and mother-in-law, Margaret Wright. He was a beloved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife Shelia Burns, his brother Bob Meyer and his sister-in-law, Dianne Allen.

A Celebration of Bruce's life will take place at a later date.
