Carol Jean Stuchlik (Kropp) passed peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, October 24, 2025 in Parker, Colorado.  Carol was born on February 7,1942 in Oak Park, Illinois as the second daughter of Raymond and Ruth Kropp.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Gary Lynn Stuchlik, whom she married on March 23, 1975, older sister, Judith Macdonald (Kropp) and was preceded in death by her younger brother, Raymond Kropp Jr.

Carol attended Oak Park River Forest High School and earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Northwestern University.  She taught elementary education in Denver Public Schools for twenty years.

She enjoyed connecting with fellow Christians through church service, bible study, and through Campus Crusade for Christ.  Carol thoroughly enjoyed traveling, playing sports and outdoor activities her entire life.  Her interests and hobbies included classical music, gardening, playing the piano, family gatherings, and horses.  Her deepest passion was cultivating deep relationships with friends and family, and she was known for generosity of herself and her time.

Carol's legacy continues through her sons and their spouses Andrew Stuchlik and Monica Stuchlik, Timothy Stuchlik and Caroline Stuchlik; and her grandchildren Tristan Stuchlik, Mikayla Pierson, Jonathan Rutherford, Michael Rutherford, Catherine Rutherford, Garren Randall and Grason Randall.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 2:00pm at Crossroads Community Church at 9900 Twenty Mile Road, Parker, Colorado 80134.  A reception for family and friends will be held immediately following the service at Crossroads Community Church.
