In the early morning hours on August 7, 2026, Connie K. Kaiser Clement moved on to her next adventure. She always enjoyed early mornings, taking in the beauty of the mountains and sky, as well as the quiet of the house. Connie was born April 30, 1941, and raised in Denver, CO. During her teenage years, Connie met Richard (Dick), the boy who would become her husband, marrying him on January 11, 1958. They celebrated their 68th anniversary this year. They started their family in Denver, then moved to Great Falls, Montana where they lived for twenty years. With four of their children out of the house working or going to college, they made the decision to move to Ketchikan, Alaska, with their youngest daughter. After 13 years in Alaska, they returned to Denver to support their parents and siblings.

Throughout her life, Connie enjoyed a variety of hobbies and activities. Learning to sew at an early age, she made everyday clothes and outerwear, including a down-filled sleeping bag (which her son Jeffory still has). While in Ketchikan, she started quilting and made hundreds of quilts for her family, friends and for donations. Connie loved cooking and entertaining and taught her children many of the family recipes.

Connie enjoyed being outdoors and adventuring with her family and friends. She learned to fish in the Colorado streams and rivers and continued fishing in the Montana lakes and ocean (bays/straits) of Alaska. To the chagrin of the crew that accompanied her, she frequently out fished them, often earning the first and the largest fish distinction. Fiercely competitive, she delighted in displaying her mastery of strategy in all types of situations from playing cards and games to trading friendly jokes and jabs.

In addition to visiting their grown children and grandchildren, Connie and Richard enjoyed traveling the country and world with family and friends. Cruises allowed them to see a variety of locations, including the Panama Canal, Caribbean Islands, East Coast fall colors, and Alaskan ports and interior. Corvette car trips took them to the Southwest, Midwest and several Southern states. Travels to Ireland and England provided them an opportunity to explore family history, along with the sights. Wherever they traveled, they spent time enjoying the local food, attractions and museums.

She is survived by husband Richard, children and their spouses: Greg and Barbara Clement, Jeff Clement, Michelle and Scott Taylor, and Sheri and Stephen Boehlert; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sister Janet Parsons; sister-in-law Barbara and Ralph Melfi; one nephew and three nieces all of whom were part of the family. Preceding her on the next adventure is her son Darrell Clement, brother-in-law Jack Parsons, father George Kaiser, mother Virginia Moyer and grandparents Amelia and John Drueth.

Informal celebrations of life will be held daily and formal ones will be in the future.
