Dan  arrived in God's arms on August 23, 2024.  All that day family and friends who cared and loved him were by his side.

Dan was born in Aurora, Colorado and was the oldest son. He married his high school sweetheart and was happily married for 26 years. He has one young daughter.  Dan was also a treasured son-in-law who was loved by many of their family members.

Dan enlisted in the US Army and after his honorable service he went on to serve for twenty-two years in law enforcement.  He was a decorated police officer that had been bestowed with many service awards during his career, including two Life Saving Awards.

Dan was also a softball coach for his daughter's softball team; he was such a supportive cheerleader to them all.  He spent his free time with his family giving them the best life. His family was his anchor and passion in his life.

His humor and love of life was infectious, and he lived life to the fullest. Dan was a humble, kind man who was friendly and always helpful to all those around him. Dan's final, life-saving act was as an organ and tissue donor and his kidneys were matched to two recipients.

The world has lost a great man, a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will always be remembered and missed. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 2:30 pm Eastern Hills Community Church, 25511 East Smokey Hill Road, Aurora, CO 80016.
