Daniel James Himes, 39, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, after a short hospital stay. He was born on September 27, 1985 to Herman Paul Himes Jr. and Sharon Elizabeth Himes.

Danny was here to enjoy life! From playing sports and riding bikes in his youth, to teasing nieces and nephews and enjoying the outdoors as an adult. He loved the Colorado mountains, his family, and his dogs, Floyd and Pepper. He was fearless, and never met a dare he wouldn't take. He was a person who always had a smile and a hug for you, and that spark will be missed sorely.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Beth Himes, his siblings, Chris Himes (Lisa), Mari Goin (Daniel), Matt Himes, and Sam Himes (Amanda), and a whole big happy pile of beloved nieces and nephews.

His caring, kindhearted time here on earth will be celebrated on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 9:30 am at Waterstone Community Church, 5890 S. Alkire St., Littleton CO 80127 with reception to follow at the church.
