Daren Clay Yokooji  was born on June 18, 1958 in Denver, Colorado to June (Tamura) and Kiyoto Yokooji.  He was one of three children.

Growing up in Denver and graduated from George Washington High School in 1976. He was the most caring and generous of heart, for those who were lucky enough to have known him. Daren worked hard and played hard. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with prostate cancer 7 years ago but never complained. He did all his treatments in order to get his health back. Only 1 out of 10 men get this rare type of cancer and sadly it returned earlier this year. When it came back, Daren fought hard, however it was too much for anyone to fight, and decided to made a quick exit.

He worked for Green Spot for over 40 years. A hard and dedicated employee. His friends will tell you he never took a day off and hardly ever called in sick. His vacation days were spent on his motorcycle to different golf destinations around the state with his closest friends.

Daren was a passionate person who loved his toys, his friends and his family. He is survived by his mother, June; brother Elden (Cindy) and sister, Barbara. Preceded in death by his father, Kiyoto. He was deeply loyal to all his friends and will be dearly missed.  A Celebration of his life is pending.  Please check back.
