On Tuesday evening September 26 th , beloved father, partner, son and brother Dave Kurt Villanyi peacefully left this earth.

Dave grew up in North Denver and graduated from Green Mountain High School. Shortly after high school he joined the Navy where he was a proud member of the Seabees, he often recounted stories of his travels and the structures he helped build for his crewmates. He was honorably discharged in 1982 and will be interred at Fort Logan Cemetery at a later date.

He had a love for music, family, being outside and Colorado sports teams. He was a lover of people who got along with everyone and made you feel welcome. You'd be hard pressed to find a more passionate, loyal and caring friend.

He was a very smart man who lived in the wild, wild west; an artist, stubborn as a mule and a rebel since day one. He will be missed tremendously.

Dave leaves behind his children Sara and Aron and his partner of 20 years, Heather. He is survived by his siblings Steve, Les, Lisa, Yvonne, Rodney and Michelle. He was proceeded in death by his father Laszlo Villanyi, mother Lydia Villanyi (Bunz) and brother Harry.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, 12:00 pm in the meeting room at Hyatt House Denver Tech Center, 9280 E Costilla Avenue, Greenwood Village, CO 80112.
