David (Dave) Powers passed away in Denver, CO at the age of 52. Dave was born in Bethpage, NY, moving to Denver at the age of one, where he lived the rest of his life.

He worked as a drafter designing cabinetry for schools and medical facilities. Dave had a passion for books and architecture and loved all things tie-dye. He was sweet and gentle and always made sure to say "I love you".

Dave is survived by his parents, Bruce (Andree) and Patty (Nate), brother Christopher (Wendi), sister Cathy, nieces Steffi, Kaelin and Flora, grandmother (Lillian) and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

While there will be no service, the family asks that you celebrate Dave's life and honor his memory through acts of kindness, paying it forward and maybe enjoying a song or two from the Beatles or Grateful Dead.
