Obituary

Davis Mallery passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026 at his home in Denver, Colorado.  Davis was born on January 11, 1957 in Lafayette, Louisiana as the youngest son of Edgar Mallery and Agnes Savoy Mallery.

Davis will be greatly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Linda Perrodin Mallery, whom he married on October 18, 1979 and brothers, Felton Mallery and wife Edna, and Albert Mallery; sisters, Judy Etienne, Bessie Mallery, Helen Carter and Margaret Mallery as well as a host of loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Mallery and Agnes Savoy Mallery; brother, Francis Mallery,  brother-in-law, Louis "Butch" Etienne, Jr., nieces, Lacretia "Trish" Francois-Roberts and Kim Mallery; and nephew, Felton Asaud Mallery.

Davis graduated from St Martinville Sr High School and the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette). He had a career as a Safety Engineer in the Aerospace and Oil and Gas industries in Houston, Texas.  He ended his career at Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia which afforded him the opportunity to travel extensively in Europe and the Middle East.

His interests and hobbies included jazz music, photography (he took awe-inspiring photos of the many exotic places he visited), family gatherings, and fixing gadgets. His deepest passion was cultivating deep relationships with friends and family, and he was known for his technical aptitude and abilities.

Davis' legacy continues through his sons and their spouses, Elijah and Veronica Mallery; Josh and Erica Mallery and his granddaughters Eleora, Amara, Carson and Talia Mallery; and grandson Miles Mallery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Samuel J. Wakser of Intermountain Health and the staff of Elevation Hospice for the compassion and care that was provided to Davis during his illness.
