Dean A.
Woodward
February 1, 1942 – July 13, 2024
Living a life of love and service, Dean Allen Woodward was a well-loved husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Dean graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology and received a Master of Divinity from The Iliff School of Theology.
His chosen careers were paths where he was helpful to the greatest number of people. Dean was a personnel manager for Armco Steel, a United Methodist Clergyman, and he retired as the Deputy Director for the Colorado State Department of Healthcare Policy and Financing.
Dean loved his time as a Docent at Wings Over The Rockies Museum, and as a Red Cross volunteer driver. Building a wooden Friendship Sloop, playing his banjo and guitar, as well as operating his flight simulator were his favorite hobbies.
Devoted to his family, Dean is survived by his loving wife Marsha of 55 years, their children Kelly Marie (Colin), Timothy Dean, Lindsay Jo (John), grandchildren Georgia, Oscar, Miriam, and Frankie, twin sister Diane Cooley (James), brother Gary Woodward (Jan Robbins), as well as extended family Dennis Hendricks (Lynne), Joan Neckers, and many nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed. May his soul continue to navigate the waves and soar among the clouds.
