Donald Franklin Krill (Don), age 94 died December 24th, 2025, of natural causes. Born in Brooks County, in Reading PA , Don later moved to Shillington at age 4 thru age 12. He attended Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Shortly thereafter Dad decided to move west and joined the Air Force. He acquired his Master of Social Work degree at the University of Denver in 1958, following his honorable discharge from the Air Force where he served in Japan as an Air Police Officer. Don and his wife Lou Krill moved to Lookout Mountain 70 years ago where they raised their family of 4 children.

Don was intrigued with magic stemmed by his early fascination with Houdini and escape artists. This was followed by his real time exposure to the famous Black Stone magician at an early age. As an adult, he performed magic for children, senior citizens centers, hospitals and later secured 25 -30 years entertaining at the Mercury Café in Denver. Much of his magic revolved around Telepathy, Paranormal, and both Mind and Psychic Readings.

His major contribution, professionally, was in the field of direct practice of Social Work. He wrote 3 books on Existential Social Work that he used for forty years of private practice as a counselor. Donald retired from Denver University with 25 years as a Professor of Social Work.

He is survived by their four children Dawn, Bonnie, Jenny and Daniel, as well as three grandchildren Hailey Olert, Hale Konopka, and Asia Krill. His brother John, lives in Lititz, Pa.
