Our mother, DonaVe Conville, was one of the strongest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her. She was born on August 26, 1929 in Winner, South Dakota and stepped into the presence of the Lord on December 27, 2022 (93 years old), peacefully and surrounded by loved ones. DonaVe graduated from Manuel High School in 1947. She went on to pursue a career as a secretary. She retired from the Wheat Ridge Regional Center – Ridge Home in 1989 after 24 years of service. Her passion was world travel.

In 1948, she married Harold Harvey. They went on to have 3 children – David Avis, Becky Anglemyer (Les Cline) and Dona (Diane) Trujillo (Lonnie Trujillo). In 1959, she married Wayne Avis. They went on to have 1 child – Lisa Modglin (Mark Modglin, III).

DonaVe is survived by her sister, Bette Potestio, her three daughters, seven grandchildren – Rebecca Sheffie (Chris), Joseph Ceremuga III (Jenny), Erica Benton (Daniel), Jessica Gansneder (Jeff), Orlando (Ben) Trujillo III (Jenny), Landon Modglin and Haydon Modglin and 10 great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her father, Delbert Jackson, mother, Jessie Jackson (Kelley), sister, JoAnn Morgan and son, David Avis.

We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 9:00am at Horizon Christian Fellowship, 5470 S. Lowell Blvd, Littleton, CO 80123. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association: Colorado Chapter in her name.
