Drew died on September 8, 2018, at his home in Denver, Colorado. He was 23. He was born on January 29, 1995, in Overland Park, KS.  Drew grew up in Bellevue, Nebraska and graduated from Bellevue West High School in 2013 during which he was a student at Kent Bellows Studio and an All-State saxophone player. He graduated from the University of Colorado-Denver with a Graphic Arts degree in 2017.

Drew worked as the graphic artist and social media designer for Certified Custom Tattoos in Denver. He was also the creative force behind Low Key Industries apparel company, as well as a freelance graphic designer of album covers and apparel for various musical artists and rappers.

Drew had the ability to recognize sincerity and potential in other people, regardless of gender, race or sexuality. Because of that he had an amazing circle of young, bright, talented people that surrounded him with love, energy and affection. He will be missed and forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tara and Sean Patomson, of Papillion, NE; his father and stepmother, Mark Shifter and Lisa Cadwell of Lakewood, CO; sister Anna Shifter of Fort Collins; stepsister Sarah Buell of Omaha; stepbrother Sam Patomson of Fort Gordon, Georgia.

A private memorial gathering will be held in his honor.
