Edward William Sullivan died at St. Paul Health Center on Thursday, October 13, 2022 after a short illness. Ed, or Eddie as he was known was 52 years old. He was born in Denver on November 3, 1969 to Gardner Edward Sullivan and Mary Eileen Geilfuss Sullivan.
He graduated from East High School and then worked food service jobs for several years before working as a cashier with Aramark for at-home Colorado Rockies games. He closely followed the Colorado Rockies and was a loyal fan. He also collected baseball cards, amassing a large collection over the years. Ed was an excellent canasta player, having learned how to play from his grandmother. He also like to sing in the choir at his church.
Ed is survived by his parents, sisters; Tina Sullivan Son (Christopher), Margi Sullivan McClung (Clinton), and brother Rick Sullivan (Marina). He was the proud uncle of nephews and nieces Austin Son, Ashley Son, Aliya Son, and Atlas Sullivan. He was also close to his aunt Trina O'Leary who was his favorite bingo partner.
For the past seven years Ed lived at St. Paul Health Center where he made many friends among patients and staff. He loved making friends.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 11:00am at 10:30 Catholic Community, 1100 Fillmore St., Denver, CO 80206. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ski High Hope Camp , PO Box 5324, Greenwood Village, CO 80155 in his Ed's name.
