Elizabeth Fea was born in Montcalm County Michigan April 15, 1934 and passed away July 28, 2025 in Golden, Colorado. She moved to Lansing Michigan and attended Lansing public schools. She moved to Oxford Ohio at 15 years old and attended McGuffey High School where she met John Allen Whitesel III. Elizabeth attended Christ School of Nursing where she earned a degree as a registered nurse.

Elizabeth and John were married in Oxford Ohio on September 5th 1955. John Whitesel IV was born in Cincinnati Ohio on January 23rd,1958 while John Whitesel III attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati. The family moved to Denver Colorado in 1958. Elizabeth and John had four more boys in Denver. Michael was born and deceased November 18th, 1959. David born July 8th and passed away July 9th, 1960. Bruce was born October 14th, 1961. Steven was born April 23rd,1965.

Elizabeth enjoyed bicycle riding, hiking, backpacking, tennis, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing. She also played mahjong and bridge with her friends. Elizabeth and her husband John traveled extensively worldwide.

Elizabeth is survived by John Whitesel IV (Dee), Bruce Whitesel (Michelle), Steven Whitesel, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, 10:30am at the Table Moutain Events Center 16035 Table Mountain Parkway Golden, Colorado 80403.
