Helen Louise Dillon (Stouffer) Born August 6, 1940 in Arizona, died December 17, 2019, in Denver Colorado at the age of 79.
Helen was a caring teacher and school librarian working in the Denver Public Schools and Stanley British Primary School. She touched the hearts of many students both as a classroom teacher as well as the students she taught piano and clarinet lessons to. She was an amazing organ player and sang in the Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church for 45 years.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Lisa Dillon (Tony Satriano), James Thorton Dillon, Jr. ( Joan Dillon), Sean Baenen (Stacey Baenen), Samantha Stewart ( James Stewart),Stacey King (Andrew King). Her sister in laws, Mary K. Dillon, Judith Baenen, Gayle Stouffer, and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband John Edward Dillon and her parents Larry and Ruth ( Jones) Stouffer as well as her brother Keith Stouffer.
Memorial Service will be on January 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia Street, Denver, Colorado 80220. Contributions may be made to the Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church Music Fund, and American Cancer Society, 2255 S. Oneida Street, Denver, Colorado 80224.
