Howard Alan Anderson, born December 16, 1954, in Elgin, Illinois, and a longtime resident of Arvada, Colorado, passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 70. He was a master electrician, a devoted father, and—above all—one of the funniest and most honest men anyone could meet. His wit, kindness, and authenticity touched the lives of all who knew him. He had a rare gift of creating joy in everyday moments, and his children proudly carry forward his personality and spirit as a reflection of the man he was.
In the five years prior to his passing, Howard dedicated himself full time to caring for his mother, Maxine Guadalupe Anderson (Sanchez) 94 years old. —a testament to his loyalty, compassion, and selfless love for family.
Howard is survived by his loving children, Jennifer Anderson, Richard Tygielski, Ian Kane, Derek Anderson, and his youngest Mary Anderson, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Devon, Dominic, Journey, Charlie, and Alana Anderson. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Brian Alan Anderson and father George Howard Anderson.
Howard's legacy lives on in the laughter, love, and honesty he shared so freely with those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
There will be a committal service where family and friends are all invited to attend in remembrance of Howard's life on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236 (Staging Area B).
