Obituary

Jeff Danielson, a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to many, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, November 23, 2025.   He joins his eldest son, Dan, in heaven who preceded him in death.

Jeff was the proud father of two wonderful sons, Dan and Sam, and husband to Teresa, a relationship that began when she was fourteen and he was seventeen, spanning a remarkable fifty-three years.

"Jeffro," as his friends called him, was born in Greeley, Colorado to parents Sam and Joan, both school teachers, both also recently passed away.  He has one sibling, Gregg. Jeff grew up with a passion for cars and spent his life learning about them, which led to a career centered around them. He worked 33 years with the City and County of Denver Police Fleet as an ASE-certified technician, and he was also certified in many other automotive specialties. He also enjoyed working on Denver's police Dare Race Car. Over the years, he built many muscle cars and a couple of race cars with good friends Don and Ryan Finley.  He loved hanging out with his sons, Dan and Sam, as they worked on their cars and cheered on the Broncos games along with his long time friend and neighbor, Harvey Patton.

He was also a "MacGyver," possessing a genius-level intellect with  problem-solving ability that allowed him to repair or improve anything he wanted or took an interest in. Jeff loved complicated model kits and enjoyed driving his comfy recliner in front of his large TV while having total control of the remote. He loved old comedies, westerns, and of course, car-building shows.

Jeff had an incredibly kind heart and was always helping others. Some days he would leave in the middle of dinner with his family just to help a friend who was stuck somewhere when their car broke down. He was known to neighborhood kids as "Pops" because he was a father figure to many of the boys. Jeff loved helping them with their cars without charging a dime, even paying out of his pocket at times. One of the things Jeff loved to do was share his knowledge. He loved seeing these boys grow up to men with the knowledge that he was able to pass on to them.

Jeff's sense of humor and witty comments always brought a good laugh. The stories from his friends about his drive-by visits will be greatly missed. He'd say he was going to visit  friends but never really stayed long, or would just drive by, because he just enjoyed driving his fancy T/A Challenger. He also loved to visit "the wife's" horse shows wearing his "My next wife won't own horses" tee-shirt.

The world has lost a truly great man, husband, father, brother and friend. He is deeply missed. He didn't want services, but we will plan a small gathering after the holidays.

Please share your memories in the guest book , we'd love to read about them.
