Jesse R.
Spielman
October 20, 1965 – July 5, 2022
Jesse Ray Spielman passed away July 5, 2022 in Denver, CO. He was born to Vivian (Martin) and Donald Spielman on October 20, 1965, in Gillette WY. He graduated from Moorcroft High School in 1984 and then went on to graduate from Casper College in 1986 with an Associate of Arts Degree. Jesse married Anne Stotts on November 8, 1997. Their beautiful son, Joshua Spielman was born on September 15 , 1998. Joshua was Jesse's greatest joy. He would always announce his love and pride in him to whomever would listen. Jesse and Anne divorced in 2003 but always co-parented. Jesse's heart was broken into a million pieces when his son passed away in 2020, but he remained emotionally supportive to Anne up until his death.
He was an accomplished superintendent in the industrial and commercial construction field for most of his life. His job required a lot of travel and because of that he lived in numerous states including Wyoming, Montana, Nevada, Texas and Florida. Jesse enjoyed teaching others and he would normally finish a job ahead of schedule and under budget. He took a lot of pride in his work and cared about the well-being of his employer and employees who were often his friends and family.
Jesse never failed to make others laugh with his goofy humor, especially with his mom and sister Shelly, they always seemed to compete at who could be the silliest. He was quick witted and always enjoyed a party. Jesse was an avid sports fan, he loved to watch basketball and football, but his favorite teams later in life were always the teams that his son and nephews were playing on. Jesse was a great basketball player and continued to play in gym leagues for many years where he still outplayed much younger men. He loved racing motocross, especially in his early years with his brother Aaron who Jesse always said was faster and the best dressed. He enjoyed spending time at various Wyoming lakes boating and hanging out with his family and friends, fishing in the Big Horn Mountains, and fishing with his dad at Lake DeSmet. He will always be remembered for his big heart and the love that he had for his son Joshua.
Jesse is survived by his mother Vivian (Chuck) Hawkinson, father Donald Spielman, brother Aaron (Jacque) Spielman, sister Shelly (Mark) Hecker, nephews Michael (Emma) Spielman, and Jacob Spielman, great nephew Spencer Spielman, niece Morgan Hecker and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jesse is preceded in death by his son Joshua, his maternal and paternal grandparents, Uncle David Martin, Aunts Lolly Martin and Susan Spielman and his cousin Dustyn Goodwin.
