Joan Whitney Hollister, also known as PJ, Joanie, Mrs. H., and Noni, wife of J. Roger Hollister, daughter of Phyllis and George Whitney, sister of Barbara  and George,  mother of Tracy, John, and Robert, grandmother of Chelsea, Sam, Tyler, Lucy, Kate, Kayla, and Justin, great grandmother of Rhys and Brynlee, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Denver, Colorado.

She was active in quilting, costume making, home design, and gardening, and loved to attend the theater.  She was a dedicated volunteer for the Denver Chapter of the National Arthritis Foundation. She was the co-founder with her husband, Roger, of the Colorado Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis Camp.  She loved her many animals and was never without a cat or dog by her side.

Above all else, she loved her family. Christmas, birthdays, and holidays were all opportunities to get the family together and were her absolute favorite times.
