John Hiroshi Kimura was born in Chicago, Illinois to Ayako and Satoru Kimura on February 19, 1961.  He passed away on December 25, 2023 after a year-long battle with cancer in Denver, Colorado.

He was raised in Denver, Colorado and attended George Washington High School then CU Boulder.  He worked multiple jobs in the food industry and served as a federal agent for Homeland Security.  John enjoyed many sports such as karate, football and especially golf.  He is survived by his brother, Paul (Julie), and his niece and nephew Alysse and Rykar.
