Dr. Judith (Judy) Paley was born in 1951 and passed away April 7, 2024. Mother, grandmother, sister, friend, doctor, and cofounder of Capitol Hill Internal Medicine.

Judy was born in Kansas, and grew up in Denver CO where she attended George Washington HS. She completed her undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and University of Colorado. She received her medical degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine in 1977 before completing her internship at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland where she met her husband Arthur Todd.  Following her internship she spent one year volunteering in a low-income clinic in La Jolla CA before completing her internal medicine residency in Colorado 1979-1981. She and her husband then settled in Colorado where she co-founded Capitol Hill Internal Medicine.

Throughout her career Judy was an active public speaker, as well as writer and blogger. She published numerous articles and letters, while maintaining a well read newsletter about women's health and seeing patients in her busy practice.

Judy was a dedicated mother and grandmother, and a loyal, steadfast friend. She was funny, caring, generous, and kind, with a sharp wit and a unique and wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by her two children Sarah and Michael, four grandchildren Ella, Danny, Eli, and Isabelle, and countless scores of grateful patients.
