Kathleen ("Kathy") Philip passed away peacefully at Golden Orchard in Centennial, CO on November 1, 2025. Kathy was born in Helena, MT on May 24, 1948, to Charles and Jean Philip. She grew up in Billings, MT and graduated from Billings High School in 1966; she then won a scholarship to study English at the University of Denver, the city where she lived the rest of her years.

She was an accomplished professional who first became a nurse, later a paralegal, and finally a nurse case manager for complex medical cases. She was married three times: to Thornton Roby, Frank Nuccio, and Fritz Githler. Her lifelong friends remember her for her humor, her bright personality, and her love and care for her daughter Courtney Roby. She was an avid knitter whose multicolored handmade socks are still keeping feet warm across the country, and a devoted "dog mom" to cairn terriers and Mackie, her much loved Westie.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Courtney and her brothers Mike, Bill, and John Philip.

A virtual memorial will be held for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Kathy's honor can be made to the Nature Conservancy , Humane Colorado , or the Bristol Hospice Foundation of California .
