Linda was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Eldon and Carol Lee Hans on November 16, 1949. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Iowa in 1972 and her Masters in Nursing from Madonna University in 1989.  Linda served as a clinical nurse, nurse administrator, and Chief Nursing Officer over the course of her 42 year career, improving quality patient care and nursing excellence for several healthcare systems in Kansas, Michigan, and California.  Linda married her husband, Lonnie R. Pruett on July 6, 1974.

Linda had a passion for nursing quality and dedicated herself fully to her professional calling.  She enjoyed needle point, maintaining her rose gardens, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and church.  Linda was known for her decisive leadership and incredible problem-solving skills.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie R. Pruett and her parents, Eldon and Carol Lee Hans. She is survived by her children, Trevor and Andrea, her siblings, Anne, James, and John, her grandchildren, Thomas and Georgia, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will take place September 21, 2022, 11:00 AM at Montview Blvd Presbyterian Church , 1980 Dahlia St, Denver, CO 80220.
