Obituary

Lola Rae Werner (maiden name Jenkins) passed peacefully on June 20th, 2023. Lola (Lolly) is preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Werner.

Lola was born August 29,1938 in Denver, CO.  In 1955 she married Robert B. Werner and they celebrated 51 years together.  While working in the Brown Palace as a banquet waitress in Downtown Denver, she met John Wayne & Clint Eastwood and other famous people while raising her 3 children.

Memories from her family:

In her younger days she had fun square dancing and appeared on a dance show.

She also loved adopting original Cabbage Patch Dolls.

Throughout life she enjoyed her family and their pets, RV traveling and having the grandkids in the RV when parked by their home, volunteering in the church office, ANYTHING Disney, Humpback Whales, sewing, puzzles, playing cards and other games during family nights, babies, baking plus planting berries in the backyard. While the children were visiting, activities included lunches of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, walks to Wendy's, gummy bears and pushing the swing. Another favorite tradition was the family picnics to Estes Park.

With a kind heart & a smile, would always want to know how you were doing.

Lola is survived by her children, Mark Werner (Cary Werner daughter-in-law) of Lakewood, Renee Sprincz (Keith Sprincz son-in law) of Littleton, Robert Werner (Renee Werner daughter-in-law) of Denver. Including 6 Grand-children and 7 Great Grand-children.
