Mason Joseph Lenz, 39, passed away on February 10, 2026 in Denver, Colorado. Born on October 22,1986 in Moscow, Russia. At the age of 5, he was adopted. Mason grew into a person whose kindness, humor, and steady friendship left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A graduate of Evergreen High School, Mason carried throughout his life a strong sense of loyalty, compassion, and dedication to those around him. He worked at King Soopers for 15 years before becoming an officer with the Department of Corrections where he remained until his passing.

Mason was known for his warm heart, thoughtful nature, and the ability to lift others' spirits with his humor and genuine support as both a friend and coworker.

Mason found joy in the outdoors and in simple, meaningful moments. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at the shooting range. He also had a passion for cooking healthy meals, often sharing his creations and encouraging others to enjoy good food and good company. Whether outside in nature or gathered with loved ones, Mason valued connection and lived life with sincerity and generosity.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Rita Lenz; father, Brad Lenz; stepmother, Elvira Thomas; his siblings, Reana Vincent, Breezy Lenz, Trevor Lenz, and step sister Diana Thomas. Mason was deeply loved by many and touched countless lives through his laughter, kindness, and unwavering presence.

A Celebration for Mason will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 2-6pm Broken Tee Golf Course Pavilion, 2101 W. Oxford Avenue, Englewood, CO  80110.
