Michael Wayne Meyer, lovingly known as Mike, was born in 1951, in Menlo Park to Harold Meyer and Bobbie (Parkin) Regan. He passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026 in Denver, CO.

Mike grew up in Colorado, graduating from Arapahoe High School in Littleton. He went on to attend the University of Denver on a gymnastics scholarship, a testament to his remarkable athletic ability and dedication.

A skilled electrician and respected business owner, Mike founded and operated Meyer Electric for over 45 years. Through his work, he not only built a successful business but also created opportunities for many others to enter and grow within the electrical trade. His mentorship and generosity left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Mike was a lifelong athlete whose passions spanned many disciplines. He excelled in motocross and bicycle racing, and in high school earned 3rd place in the state for diving. In later years, he rekindled his love for golf and embraced cross-country ski racing, often alongside his beloved wife, Sybil. Whatever sport he pursued, Mike approached it with determination, enthusiasm, and a natural talent that set him apart.

Above all, Mike was devoted to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Sybil Praski; his daughter, Hannah Bruttig (Philip); his son, Logan (Hannah); his brothers, John (Sherrie Mills) and David (Cheri) Meyer; his sister, Robyn Taylor (Richard); and his half-siblings, Pat, Holly, and Sean Regan. He was a proud grandfather to Peter and Penn Bruttig, and Callen and Brae Meyer. Also survived by his nieces, Brittany Taylor (James Samara), Calea Smith, and Brooke Meyer; and his nephews, Darren Meyer (Brenda) and Kyle Taylor (Bri).

Mike will be remembered for his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, and deep love for his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched, both personally and professionally.
