Nathan P.
Stahl

Denver Botanic Gardens – Chatfield Farms
1:00 - 3:00 pm
Nathan Philip Stahl, 45, passed peacefully on February 12, surrounded by his immediate family after a battle with lung cancer.
He is leaving behind a legacy of generosity, and a deep love for the people around him. A Colorado native, he was born with an adventurous spirit. Nathan felt most at home in the outdoors, whether he was rollerblading, snowboarding, picking up a lacrosse stick, or playing ball with his son Philip. Nature and freedom were woven into the fabric of his life.
Nathan took tremendous pride in his work as a plumber. He approached every job with craftsmanship, integrity, and determination that earned the respect of his co-workers and customers alike. He believed in doing things the right way and it showed in his work.
Nathan also enjoyed cooking and was very proficient at preparing his favorite dishes which usually included bacon in some form. He also prepared a great green chili although you would need to tolerate a spicy version.
Above all, Nathan was an extraordinary father to his son Philip. His love for Philip was steady and unwavering; the kind of love that shaped every choice he made. The bond they shared was the heart of Nathan's world, and his presence will continue to guide Philip in the years ahead.
Nathan is survived by his son Philip Stahl, his father Michael Stahl (stepmom Tonya Stahl), mother Kathleen Valenta (stepdad Michael Valenta), brothers/stepbrothers Ryan Stahl (Michelle), Derek Stahl (Kassie), Mike Valenta (Molly), and Stephen Valenta (Madison). He also leaves behind a loving extended family including uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Donald and Eileen Dickerson and Kenneth and Darlene Stahl and his stepbrother, Christopher Valenta.
A celebration of Nathan's life will be held on June 20, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Denver Botanic Gardens – Chatfield Farms 8500 W Deer Creek Canyon Rd, Littleton, CO, 80128 when family and friends can gather to honor and share his memory, and the joy he brought into their lives.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to American Lung Association in Nathan's honor.
