Ralph passed away from pulmonary hemorrhage on Friday, May 23, 2025 at AdventHealth Porter Hospital in Denver. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 5, 1936 to George, Sr. and Helen (Kanaan) Haddad. He became hooked on the game of golf at the age of twelve. He would get up very early and hitchhike to the tournaments and was very successful on the junior golf circuit.
After graduating from Norwood High School, he studied at Holy Cross for a year in 1957, and enlisted in the Army for the next three years. He played on the All-Army golf team with his friend, Orville Moody. In 1960 he was offered a golf scholarship to Adams State in Alamosa, CO where he received his Bachelors degree and masters in counseling. For a few years he was a counselor at Boulder High School before settling into local professional golf jobs.
In July 1969 he married Rebecca Yoder in Lafayette, IN. After thirty years of marriage, they divorced, however had three children; Mindi, of Aurora, Tim of Denver and preceded in death his daughter Beth. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 6:30 pm, Valley Country Club, 14601 Country Club Drive, Centennial, CO 80016.
