Randy Lee, beloved father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a short illness.
Born on October 24, 1959, in Fort Morgan, Colorado, Randy was the eldest of three children born to Jim and Patty Lee. He enjoyed a wonderful childhood filled with family, lifelong friendships, countless memories with his many cousins, the “Park Street Gang,” and dear friends from junior high and high school. Randy graduated from Fort Morgan High School in 1978.
Throughout his life, Randy worked a variety of jobs, beginning alongside his father at Meadow Gold Dairy in Fort Morgan as a proud third-generation milkman. He later became one of the top flooring salesmen at Floor & Décor in Denver before retiring.
Randy had a lifelong passion for sports. Baseball and softball were among his greatest loves, both as a player and fan. He faithfully followed Colorado sports teams — especially the Denver Broncos — and never missed an opportunity to support his grandchildren’s games and activities.
Randy was a kind and caring soul who loved his family and friends deeply. He is survived by his daughter, Whitney (David) Gonzales; his son, Korin (Monique) Lee; and his cherished grandchildren, Kali, Lexi, Abygail, and Jason. He is also survived by his sister, Diane (Danny), and their family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Patty Lee, and his brother, Tom, all of whom he adored and with whom he is now reunited.
A private celebration of Randy’s life will be held by the family. In his memory, the family encourages everyone who knew him to take a moment to call, hug, and cherish their loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the The Salvation Army, a cause that Randy and his family held close to their hearts.
