Lily Sayuri Goto, affectionately known as Sachi, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024 at her home in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at the age of 95. Born to Shunji and Kuni Kitsutaka on March 28, 1929 in Denver, Colorado, Sachi's life was filled with love, laughter and dedication.

After graduating from Manual High School in 1946, she worked at the family laundry business while attending Barnes Business College. For over 30 years, Sachi was a valued and respected employee at the Federal Center, working her way up from a clerk typist to an Administrative Officer.

In 1952, she married the love of her life Larry Goto in a beautiful ceremony at California Street Methodist Church later to become Simpson United Methodist Church, where they were advisors to the Methodist Youth Fellowship for many years and were deeply involved with the church. Together they raised two children Dave (Gayle) and Cyndy (Randy). Sachi's love extended to her four grandchildren Kathryn, Kellye, Kaylin and Matthew and her three great grandchildren Blake, Kaden and Elliot, who will carry on her legacy of kindness.

A master of numbrix puzzles, an avid bowler and golfer, Sachi also loved fishing and the occasional trip to the casinos. She found great joy in the time she spent with her close friends and babysitting her grandchildren. She enriched the lives of all those around her with her infectious laugh and sense of humor.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, her siblings, Henry, Meach, Agnes and Ruby. Sachi's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her brother, Justin, her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Sachi will be profoundly missed by all who knew her but they will be left with many joyous memories. As per her request a private memorial service for family will be held at a later date.
