Sandra was born March 20, 1946 in Florida. She spent her childhood and some of her adulthood in Dearborn, Michigan.

Sandra married and moved to Denver, Colorado in the mid-70's with her son Patrick. After a couple of moves she and her son settled in a small community in Arvada. Eventually after many years in Arvada, Sandra moved to Westminster where she resided till her passing on March 7, 2025. For many years, Sandra worked at Red Rocks College offering a guiding light to students.

Sandra's greatest love was flying, second only to loving her family. When she lost her ability to pilot a plane, she moved on to teaching and helping the next generation make their dreams a reality, touching many lives, and helping however she could. Sandra earned the nickname Coyote Red for a reason, touching a bit of a wild streak in her. She spent her life being stubborn and following her dreams. When one thing ended, she moved on to the next. Guiding her son and grandchildren to do bigger, better things. And to never stop dreaming. She'd say "There's no limit once you touch the sky." In loving memory of an amazing woman, our community and family will cherish the moments we spent together.

Sandra is survived by her son Patrick and spouse Carolyn, and her loving grandchildren, Rebbeckah, Petra and spouse, Ken, Ciara and great grandson Liam.

A celebration of life took place at Sunrise Assisted Living on Sunday March 9, 2025 to celebrate the happiness and memories of Sandra's life with her family and friends. On June 28th, 2025 a private celebration of her life will be held with family to spread her ashes in various places in Colorado that she wished to be remembered.
