Sidney "Sid"
C. Wolf
March 31, 1952 – April 15, 2022
On April 15, 2022 Sidney (Sid) Wolf passed away peacefully at the age 70 in Littleton, Colorado, after a 6 year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was surrounded by family and close friends as he took his final breath.
Sid was a highly regarded arborist in the Denver metro area. He graduated from Colorado University in 1976 with a Bachelors in Biology. He has worked in the industry for 50 years and his passions for trees, plants and nature was evident in his everyday life. He owned two successful tree companies; Front Range Tree Service and Big Ash Tree. He also worked as a safety manager for a national tree company and consulted for many tree businesses along the front range. Sid was a certified arborist with International Society of Arboriculture and a Certified Tree Care Safety Professional with Tree Care Industry Association.
In April 2016 Sid was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He immersed himself in the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and became an ambassador for PFF, educating and supporting families affected by PF. Although Sid was passionate about trees, the environment and educating people, his true passion was his family. He spent as much time as he could fishing, hunting, camping, traveling and being outdoors while sharing these activities with his family. He instilled a strong sense of love and respect for the outdoors, animals and the earth within his children and grandchild. He enjoyed running in his free time and completed many half marathons and a full marathon with his friends at the Boulder Running Company. Sid loved watching baseball, the Colorado Rockies and was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos. He was a family man in the truest sense.
Sid is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debbie Wolf (Krominga), daughter Ammie Chapman (Joshua Chapman), son Matthew Wolf, granddaughter Maddux Chapman, sister Lynn Stuntz, many nieces and nephews and close friends who are considered family.
