Sonja Ann (Sabec) Rands was born January 18, 1946 in Denver, Colorado and passed away July 7, 2023 in Arvada, Colorado.

Sonja's memory will be cherished by her family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her presence. Though she may no longer be physically with us, her spirit will live on in the stories, memories and lessons shared by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

We mourn the loss of Sonja, but we also celebrate the incredible life she lived-a life filled with love and unwavering dedication. May her soul find eternal peace and may she forever be remembered as an inspiration to us all.

She leaves behind a large family including her sister-in-law, niece, nephew, step-children, grandchildren, great-grand children and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Sonja was preceded in death by her husband of thirty four years; Larry, her beloved parents and brother, Louis, Margaret (Elizabeth) and Donald Sabec.

A memorial service to celebrate Sonja's life will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church 400 Cherry St, Hudson, CO 80642 with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to the Alzheimer's Association .

Rest in peace, dear Sonja. You will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten.
