Obituary

Thomas E. Boyle was born on March 13, 1940 in West Point, Nebraska to Larry and Alyce (nee McNamara) Boyle. He died at home with his family around him on January 18, 2025 after a short illness. His death was preceded by his wife of 58 years, Nancy and his brother Terry. He is survived by his children Margaret, Beth, Michael and Christina; his son David O'Brian; granddaughters Cassie, Maddie, Helena, Sarah, and Laura; sisters Kathy and Rita; great grandson Alec; sons in law Mark Turner, Alexander Adonin, and Daniel Simo.

Tom's formative years were spent in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he attended St. Mary's school.  He graduated high school from St. Joseph's Military Academy in Hays, Kansas in 1958.  He attended Regis College and graduated in 1963.  At the University of Wyoming, he received his law degree in 1966. From 1966 to 1980 Tom worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission and then later set up a law firm, Krys, Boyle & Golz, where he worked until he retired in 2009.

He would like to be remembered for his love of God, country, family, friends and colleagues. For any successes he may have had, he credits his wife and children; coworkers Joe Krys (2001), Harold Golz, Erma Palm and Betty Bybee; and instrumental relatives such as his father (1989), Uncle Red Boyle (2017), Uncle Fred McNamara (2008) and his grandparents. His failures he claims as solely of his own making.
