83, passed away on February 4, 2019.  Walter was born on November 16, 1935 to Wilhelm Alfred and Marth Jeschke Kuster in Gosintin Pomerania Germany (now Poland).  Wally was educated in Tauenzin Germany, Koarst Germany, Deuseldorf Germany, Maywood IL and Glen IL. He raced bicycles as an amateur in Europe as a teenager and served in the US Army actively for 2 years and the reserves for 6 years.

He was an Electro-mechanical engineer with specialties in heating, cooling and neumatics in the plasltic industry. He was mainly employed by Plastofilm Inc. in Wheaton, IL and then in 1976 he moved to Littleton, CO and worked for Mountain States Plastics in Englewood, CO. Then in 1977 he started his own business Kuster Industries Inc. in Castle Rock, CO, where he built and serviced custom machinery until he retired in 2000.

Wally travelled widely in Germany, Poland, Czechloslovakia, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Corsica, France, Spain, Belgium, Luxemburg, Holland, England, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Canada and all 50 states in the USA.

He supported many charities and was a volunteer at the Marian House Soup Kitchen in Colorado Springs for many years, repairing their equipment. He was also a member of the Society of American Plastic Engineers.

Wally is survived by his wife, Marcia Stackhouse-Kuster, Denver, CO; Brother Karl Heinz (Evelyn) Kuster, Glendale Heights, IL; Sister, Gisela (Rudi) Czappa, Sun City, AZ; stepsons Scott (Leona) Stackhouse, Leonardo NJ, and Mark Stackhouse, Denver, CO; stepdaughters Karen (Hank) Kellner, Phoenix AZ and Linda (David) Bowling; step-granddaughter Stephanie Roybal Stackhouse, Denver, CO; His grandchildren Todd Szymczak, Rochester, MI, Adam (Gina), Plymouth MI and their children Parker and Owen; Emily (Steve) Smock and their children Hunter, Lucas and Greyson. He is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Thumel Kuster, his parents and baby brother Harold Kuster.

Wally will be remembered for his love, generosity, friendship and storytelling? He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church 8545 E. Dry Creek Rd, Centennial, CO 80112, at 2:30pm. Monarch Society will handle the cremation and he will then be inurned in the columbarium at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Denver.
