William Arthur
Pascoe
Nov 11, 1968 — Jun 7, 2018
Will Pascoe stepped into eternity on June 7, 2018, ending his courageous 49-year battle with cystic fibrosis. Born in Denver on November 11, 1968, Will attended Moore Elementary School, Morey Middle School, and East High School where, in addition to being an outstanding student, he played soccer and participated in the U.S. Constitution competition. He majored in international relations at Stanford University. After working in political offices in Washington, he received a law degree at the University of Colorado. Then he served in the state property tax exemption division, until his health forced him to retire.
He gratefully accepted a double lung and then a single lung transplant from organ donors. Will had a sunny attitude, a wry sense of humor and a contagious smile. Among the things he loved were the Broncos and Fantasy Football, politics, WWII history, and Steamboat Springs. He wrote essays, stories, a blog, and a novella called
The Forever Library
(Amazon). He died peacefully at University Hospital surrounded by his family.
His father D. Monte Pascoe died in 2006. His mother is Patricia Hill Pascoe; sister Sarah Pascoe (Mark Moran); brother Edward Pascoe, and nephew Max Moran, all of Denver. He is also survived by Patrick and Virginia Pascoe, Dale and Kathy Bush, and Chuck Blat (Cheryl Wax).
The memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Montview Blvd. Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia Street. Donations in Will's memory may be made to the Rocky Mountain Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 400 S.
